Repetition Makes It True

I know it seems like I have been focusing on more political stuff lately. I just ... well, I just find it hard to believe my eyes and ears every day when I watch world events. Can this really be happening all around us?

Surgery is being performed on the minds of people all over the world. The surgeon is the current administration. The scalpel is fear. The surgical technique is repetition, which cuts through layers of belief and moral safeguards until the mind is fully exposed and ready to be altered.

I found this incredibly hard to watch:

We are being pummeled into submission by the repetition of words.
We are being pummeled into submission by the repetition of words.
We are being pummeled into submission by the repetition of words.

That video is the devil, Bobby! Little girls is the devil, Bobby! Football is the devil, Bobby!

This video is more propaganda-ish than anything GWB could ever think of on his own.

Simply hating GWB doesn't make you a smart person. This video clearly illustrates my point.

I think what's ultimately tragic about their incessant invocation of 9/11 is the fact that the Bush administration and the majority of the GOP stalled the investigation and implementation of reccomendations from the 9/11 Commission at every turn.

Butchie, I never said that the video wasn't propaganda. It was definitely made by people who are anti-Bush.

However, I placed this video here because it illustrates how often the phrases are being used in the media. I have hear the phrase "war on terror" more than my own fucking name. This stuff is being drilled into our heads. The video almost makes me nauseous, just listening to the repetition.

I am not being partisan here - frankly, REpublicans have a lot of godd ideas also. I simply notice the trend in the media.

Geez, get a fucking clue.

I thought it was funny, with Giuliani and his fake Jazz Hands. And Zell Miller, how he looked like the absolute epitome of evil, that was hilarious. Oh my god and then Schwarzenegger, just the way he saids terrorism was hilarious!

Global Terrorism!Global Terrorism!Global Terrorism!Global Terrorism!Global Terrorism!Global Terrorism!Global Terrorism!Global Terrorism!Global Terrorism!Global Terrorism!Global Terrorism!

And George Bush still can't say Terrorists!

I just might have to re-post this if you don't mind.
